Last night on the 13^th January 2016 at Wyndham Grand Regency, Qatar was introduced to its first cold coffee brewing experience. Yesterday was the start of the global cold-brewed coffee program, that would be introduced in the Wyndham hotels all over the world. An innovative twist on the traditional coffeehouse experience with Brew Parlor, will be await you for the afternoon happy hour at the café of Wyndham everyday during the week between 4 pm and 6pm.

We tried it and LOVED it! Cold brewed coffee might sound a little strange at first, but when you see the concept laid out in the café like a laboratory, you know that the new way of brewing coffee will leave you the finest coffee cocktail you can imagine. Coffee lovers can have a taste of the blends of coffees, flavors and spices from today onwards.

At the launch of Brew Parlor, which is its first cold brew coffee concept in Qatar and one of the first in the Middle East, Mark Anderson, vice president of food and beverage for Wyndham Grand informed us that the new Chef Stephanie Izard helped design the cold coffee blends, and that cold brewed coffee is already very popular in America and Europe and is growing in sales, faster than any other non-alcoholic beverage.

We are as passionate about a new trend as anyone else is, but this coffee experience is even something for the tea enthusiast. You don’t have to love coffee to fall in love with the Five Spice Shaken Iced Coffee for example that has a surprising kick with Tchai chili, cinnamon, clove and star anise. Other compositions feature dark chocolate, almond whipped cream, fennel seed, orange zest or guajillo chili.

Here in Wyndham it seems to be all about the coffee with coffee infused snacks and sweets next to the cocktails. A new happy hour with a new concept. Sounds like a trend story, so be one of the first to follow the trend and be amazed at how much more you can love coffee!
