On 17 April 2023, Qatar Charity carried out a fundraising live stream named as the 27th Night Challenge in cooperation with top social media influencers in Qatar, Abdullah AlGhafri, Dr Abdulrahman Alharami and Mohamad Adnan to raise funds to build 10,000 houses for those displaced in Yemen and Syria.

حققنا الهدف من #تحدي_ليلة_٢٧ وتجاوزناه، تم جمع مبلغ 32,999,944 ريال قطري لبناء (مدينة الكرامة) في سوريا و (مدينة الخير آت) في اليمن لإيواء أكثر من 10,000 نازح.

The event took place at Al Hazm Mall and corresponded with the 27th night of Ramadan.

Community members came live and were able to donate online via dedicated payment channels.

The amount raised totalled up to an amount of QR 32,999,944 in a matter of 3 hours.

The houses will be provided in Al Karamah city and Al Khair Aat city.
