Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” has the pleasure of commemorating the multi-purpose auditorium inside its Tower at Al-Dafna as “Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah” Auditorium in order to honour and respect his contribution towards our company in specific, and the Oil & Gas industry in the state of Qatar and in addition to his involvement in the international area in the field of environment and energy.
His Excellency Mr. Al- Attiyah who was the Minister of Energy and Industry has played a vital role in establishing Qatar Fuel WOQOD in 2002 from the erstwhile NODCO. He was keen to implement the vision of his Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani to encourage all Qatari nationals to become shareholder of WOQOD.
Mr. Al-Attiyah who fully supported WOQOD activities and growth through his valuable guidance and vision to become the leading company in the region in terms of distribution, storage and transportation of all petroleum product and other related services including Bitumen supplies and vehicles inspection for entire the State of Qatar.
On this occasion, H.E. Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Chairman of WOQOD stated, “WOQOD under the guidance of H.E. Al- Attiyah during the period 2003 -2014 as a Chairman has shown a tremendous growth and success which will be sustainable for years to come”. In recognizing H.E. Al-Attiyah contribution, and his whole heater support during the needy time, WOQOD’s Board of Directors and The Executive Management have the pleasure in commemorating this Auditorium by his name.
On this occasion, We would like to take this opportunity to express deep Thanks and Gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, The Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, The Father Emir, to the Government of Qatar for Their endless support to WOQOD’s project and business.
