Ooredoo will be one of the sponsors for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016, which runs from 4 January until 9 January 2016.

Some of the tennis world’s leading players will arrive in Qatar in January – including world No.1 Novak Djokovic, world No. 5 Rafael Nadal, world No. 6 Tomas Berdych and defending champion David Ferrer –to take part in the first major tournament of the year.

Ooredoo will be the telecommunications partner for the event, providing media areas and offices with world-class global connectivity, and supporting visitors and fans with incredible 3G, 4G and 4G+ broadband services on the Ooredoo Supernet.

H.E. Nasser Al Khelaifi, QTF President and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee said: “The Qatar ExxonMobil Open is always an ideal way to showcase the sport in the State of Qatar. Ooredoo sponsors a broad range of sports and healthy living initiatives throughout the year, and is set to host the fourth Ooredoo Marathon on 8 January 2016, as the company encourages people to get fit.
