Doha, Qatar: 13 May, 2015 – Cityscape Qatar ended its 2015 edition on a high after its three day exhibition and summit reaffirms that all real estate sectors are set for significant expansion in the coming years, particularly residential and retail, as Qatar continues to invest in large scale infrastructure and construction projects in the lead up to the 2022 World Cup and the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The show held on 11-13 May under the Patronage of H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior for the State of Qatar, offered an unprecedented number of networking opportunities for the industry’s key local, regional and international players, which included United Development Company (UDC), United Developers, Al Bandary Real Estate, Dubai Properties and ASTAD Project Management.

One of the most high profile projects at this year’s event was UDC’s The Pearl, Qatar, spanning over four million square-metres of land, this world-class, mixed use urban development in Doha offers residents and visitors a complete lifestyle experience. “We are extremely pleased with the attendance throughout the three days and particularly with the impressive number of local, regional and international media covering this event,” said Roger Dagher, Director of Corporate Communications at UDC.

Mr. Dagher continued, “During Cityscape we had the chance to showcase The Pearl Qatar and highlight its positioning as a model, first-class mixed-use urban development in Qatar offering five-star services to a growing list of residents, retailers and visitors. The Island is at once a residential destination, a retail haven and a luxury resort attracting visitors from Qatar and abroad, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to share this message with investors and journalists visiting our stand.”
