Alfardan Hospitality has announced its agreement with Alex Reid, the UK’s leading provider of laundry and dry cleaning services for global brands, to launch Alex Reid Middle East.

With its end-to-end offerings, from designing and building new facilities to fine-tuning existing laundry equipment to providing comprehensive laundry services, Alex Reid provides clients with dynamic, efficient, turn-key solutions regardless of scale and offers a wide range of products from equipment to consumables and software solutions.

Alex Reid’s expansion to the region was made possible after entering into an agreement with Alfardan Hospitality. The new partnership delivered solutions to the newly opened Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, involving the design and installation of laundry equipment by Alex Reid Middle East. At The St. Regis Doha, Alex Reid Middle East specifically refitted the existing laundry equipment per the specifications of the management team to improve the efficiency of the existing platform and to elevate the level of quality to new standards.

Aside from utilizing world-class equipment to both projects, Alex Reid also assisted in capacity evaluation to meet current and projected demand, utility consumption, manpower planning and training, and maintenance services. To ensure the success of the landmark venture, Tim Grice has been appointed as Alex Reid Middle East’s General Manager in the Middle East, bringing his 30 years of industry experience to his current role.
