Forbes Middle East has released its list of 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen including 2 prominent Qatari leaders. The women named on the list hold leading positions in banking and financial services, healthcare, investments, technology, and other sectors.

Mira Al-Attiyah (#68)

  • Company: QNB Capital
  • Sector: Banking and Financial Services

Mira Al-Attiyah has retained her position as CEO of QNB Capital, an investment subsidiary of QNB Group, since 2014. QNB Capital, under the leadership of Al-Attiyah, has served as a joint lead manager on several local and international sovereign and corporate bond and sukuk offerings totaling over $50 billion over the last five years.

  • Leaders of family businesses were excluded this year.
