Hilton’s new beach resort and Qatar’s new major leisure destination, located 84km from Doha, will also launch several other elements and facilities that will be accessible to a wider audience in the coming months. The resort is located on three million square meters of prime coastline in the southwest corner of Qatar. Read below to find out more about this fascinating resort.
The resort features different types of accommodation to offer you a perfect staycation to refresh, relax, and recharge. There are 84 beachfront villas with a private swimming pool, 246 deluxe rooms and suites (Hilton Hotel) with wonderful sea and garden views, providing a wider variety of accommodation to welcome more guests. Arabian Village with 31 secluded villas reflecting traditional Arabian architecture, with the authentic Arabic restaurant Levantine at its heart. Each includes complimentary WiFi and traditional Qatari décor.
Desert Falls water and Adventure park at the Salwa Beach Resort are one of the largest themed parks in the Middle East with a total area of 57, 539 sq.m. It has 28 water slides and rides with 20 attractions such as the extreme and family canyoning, a diving experience, Go-Kart Track, Laser tag hall, diving pools, and more!
The resort offers more than 25 restaurants and eateries to please every palate, including an underwater restaurant for an unforgettable experience, such as the locally inspired all-day dining restaurant Souq Kitchen, the vibrant Dante Cucina Italiana, the fashionably stylish Octa seafood restaurant and lounge, Miss Wong Chinese restaurant and others.
The resort will also open the Salwa Sports Academy, featuring training facilities, football pitches and multi-purpose playing courts, as well as a sports bar. The ballroom holds capacity up to 1200 theatre style as well as 900 banquet style.
