Registration is Open for the Fifth Katra Beach Soccer Tournament 2015

In cooperation with Katara beach management in the Cultural Village Foundation “Katara”, Al-Furjan committee for soccer tournaments in Aspire announces the launch of the Fifth Katra Beach Soccer 2015 in Ramadan on Katara beach soccer pitch.

Terms and Conditions

• Participants must be more than 17 years old. The tournament is for Qataris, expats born in Qatar, Gulf nationals, or expats who received school education in Qatar (primary, preparatory, and secondary. Two posts only will be for expats who weren’t born in Qatar.
• The teams must bear the names of Qatari cities and suburbs.
• Teams must have a uniform with numbers.
• There should be 8 – 12 players in each team + three administrative assistants.
• Five players in the pitch, the rest are substitutes and swapping is unlimited throughout the match.
• The duration of the match is 30 minutes divided into halves; the break is 5 minutes in the preliminary and quarter-finals stages.
• Teams can register by June 15, 2015. Registration will close once 10 teams are registered.
• QR 3000 to be paid as a bond and shall be returned once the tournament is over provided rules and regulations haven’t been violated.
• To register, you need a valid Qatari identification card and a passport size photo.

Tournament Awards

• The first position: A trophy + gold medals + QR 50.000 cash.
• The second position: A trophy + silver medals + QR 40.000 cash.
• The third position: A trophy + bronze medals + QR 30.000 cash.
• The best goalkeeper and striker will get QR 5000 each
