Across the world, the 21st June, every year, is known as ‘Go Skateboarding Day’. On this day every year, skateboarders gather and perform their tricks for as long as they can in order to celebrate the art of skateboarding.

This year, 2014 Qatar Extreme Sport (QES), in collaboration with Aspire Zone, is organizing a three-day Skateboarding and BMXing competition, which will take place from 19th-21st June.

During the first two days (19th and 20th June), there will be demonstrations and shows of skateboarding and BMXing from more than 15 athletes. There will also be skateboarding workshops for children eager to learn the sport.

The skateboarding and BMXing competition for professional skateboarders will take place on the final day (21st June). Anyone interested in watching the shows and competition can do so free of charge and catch a glimpse of the talented skateboarders in Doha.
