First held in 2013, CHI AL SHAQAB is one of only five CHI competitions worldwide and the first and only equestrian event of its kind in the Middle East and Asia region. Since then, it has evolved to become one of the highlights on the world’s equestrian calendar with participation of top-ranking international and local riders competing in the disciplines of showjumping, dressage, and para dressage.

CHI (Concours Hippique International – International Equestrian Competition) is the official title awarded by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) to international equestrian competitions with three or more equestrian disciplines.

Besides ensuring an action-packed sporting competition, CHI AL SHAQAB 2020 will also feature a festival area offering a range of educational and entertainment activities suitable for the entire family.
