Ladies' Ramadan Retreat Relax, Recharge & Grow: 17 July, 4:00 pm - 19 July, 4:00 pmScreen

Ramadan is a great time to retreat & reflect. Qatar is quiet and you have th chance to look inward and see what is moving you, what is bothering you, where there are opportunities for change and growth. The retreat then empowers you to leverage those opportunities.

The weekend is all about enjoying the ‘simple pleasures’ of life - good, wholesome food that we prepare together, story telling and sharing what moves us, stretching our bodies and the boundaries of our comfort zones, the spirit of sisterhood (being surrounded by like-minded women who understand you and are rooting for you), a feeling of community. 17 July, 4:00 pm - 19 July, 4:00 pm

We meet at Sealine Beach Resort on Thursday afternoon at four. Once you’ve met your room mate and made yourself comfortable, we get started with a bit of gentle yoga to stretch out the tiredness of the day and the drive and to fully arrive in the place. This is followed by an introductory coaching session.

During the 48 hours we spend together, we engage in communal tasks like preparing food, laying the table and eating together, all the while keeping up some friendly banter... or a deep and meaningful conversation - as you like!

The ingredients and the recipes for all the meals are provided. It’s simple, heathy and scrumptious vegetarian fare that’s quick and easy to prepare.

On the Friday night we have a little ‘variety show’ where everyone can bring along a poem, story, song or dance to share with the others.

Every morning at sunrise we do yoga on the beach. We have coaching in the morning and the afternoon and a long break over lunch.

We finish on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 and are usually on our way back to Doha by 5:00 p.m. at the latest.

The retreat is a great opportunity to have a ‘device free’ weekend. We strongly recommend as little communication with the outside world as possible, so you can really focus on yourself and your wellbeing for once.
