The Doha Trade Fair is one of the most popular shopping events in Qatar. Hundreds of thousands of bargain hunters are expected to merge into the Doha Exhibition Center during the 10-day extravaganza.
The fair will feature consumer and household goods from around the globe -- everything from fabrics to toys, furniture, cleaning products, gadgets, carpets and much, much more from nearly 600 exhibitors occupying a space of 15,000 sq. meters. Among the major countries represented this year are Canada, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, China, Egypt, France, Iran, India, Italy, Qatar, Phillippines, Oman, Morocco, Malysia, Lebanon, KSA, Kuwait, Kenya, Korea, UAE, Turkey, Tunisia, Thailand, Singapore, Syria, SA and Yemen.
The event is family friendly, and is open to all members of the public.
Organizers hope to attract close to 200,000 visitors this year. The fair also provides an ideal forum for business owners and dealers to network with each other and purchase products at wholesale price.
