"Joop Junior is a classic example of the phrase ‘bend the twig and bend the tree’. His productions, most known for his pushing grooves, hypnotic percussion, massive synths and tight beats, caught early on by the crowds. The Hague tech-house veterans Remy and Patch Park recognized the talent in Joop and he released an EP at their label Fone Audio. The EP gained immediate support by the likes of Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Karotte and Marco Bailey. From that moment on his career took an immense lift. His talent was noticed internationally and no other then Techno-pioneer Richie Hawtin released two tracks by Joop Junior on his famous Minus label in the spring of 2012. And already a new EP is planned, this time for Dubfire’s SCI+TEC label!"

Joop Junior’s career is still young, but he has already made a flying start. His passion for dance music began at an early age and he has been DJing and producing bassline-orientated and infectious techno ever since. Joop Junior’s remarkable talent has not gone unnoticed and his tracks have been released by none other than technopioneer Richie Hawtin on his renowned record label M-nus. Besides producing, this free spirit from The Hague has been setting up his own label and organising events. With these milestones already behind him, we can’t wait to see what Joop Junior still has in store for us in the future.

Growing up in The Hague, it didn’t take long before Joop got the chance to show off his DJing skills. After familiarizing himself with house music, his love for techno began to grow. He managed to develop his already-mature sound quickly because he learned the tricks of the trade from an experienced producer. His own productions with their distinctive rolling grooves, hypnotizing percussion, ringing synths and tight beats soon garnered attention. Fellow The Hague boys and well-known tech-house acts Remy and Patch Park recognised Joop’s talent and released his EP on their label Fone Audio. The EP was well received by world-famous DJs such as Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Karotte and Marco Bailey. From that moment on, his career rapidly gained momentum.

It wasn’t long before Richie Hawtin caught on to Joop’s music too -literally. When Hawtin was playing at a festival, Joop threw a USB stick with some of his tracks at the superstar DJ. A release on the album New Horizons, a M-nus complitation distributed by renowned magazine Mixmag, followed not long after. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Joop’s raw and dark but always danceable tracks are now regularly played by established names, including Adam Beyer, John Digweed and Umek. Playing Joop’s records is like shooting fish in a barrel: his tracks never miss and are guaranteed to cause mayhem on the dance floor.

Setting up his own label Access and organising Access label nights have allowed a wider audience to get to know Joop’s passion for and commitment to music. Visiting one of his events is guaranteed to stimulate all your senses: quality music for the ears, an overwhelming LED show for the eyes and pumping basslines for the body. That being said, Joop is nowhere near done with the world, or the world with him.

Decibel db (Bruce Turcotte & Andy Hill)

Originally from Montreal and Charleston, South Carolina respectively.
In early 2003, two unlikely characters were thrust into each other's lives in Doha, Qatar for the simple love of music.
Due to the nightlife in Qatar back then, Decibel founded Green Apple Presents and played a big part in bringing House music to Qatar. They started off small and began throwing house parties and organizing local events.
Over the years, they gained a respectable following and began playing in other countries when opportunities came along.....most recently blowing away crowds in Ibiza and Montreal in Sept 2012.

As the years progressed, so did their sound. Over the years, they realized that when they combined their talent, the results were always memorable.
Their ultimate goal is to share the outcome with their close friends and hope that their love for music can bring a smile to the face of everyone that experiences it.

Sprouting from turntablist roots, MR D has been immersed in music and inspiration his whole life, and his intense blend of juddering acid, techno and rich minimal grooves, have earned him gigs at benchmark clubs around the world.
His productions are murky and hypnotic, and demonstrate a natural aptitude for innovative and captivating dance music. Eschewing the "in" sound, MR D's output has always followed its own path - quirky, uplifting journey and thoroughly electronic.

DJ Rushn

He came to this world in Russia back in 1984, where he spent the first 12 years of his life. From a very early age he was intrigued by sounds and music and actually first started practicing mixing beats with a couple of tape decks he had fixed up and got running in his bedroom.

At the age of 12 he moved on to pastures new and started making a name for himself in London UK as well as some of the other surrounding cities and soon became known as the RUSHN one or DJ Rushn which came about from 1, his roots and 2, his ability to get the whole crowd rushing with his energetic eclectic take on music and Djing.

Now residing in Doha Qatar, DJ Rushn continues to wow crowds and keep people dancing to the early hours, usually you will find him playing out minimal tech, but he also has a love of writing and producing his own music, mainly big baselines are what he's into and is currently getting attention from some of UK's dub and bass music labels.

Watch this space because it is about to blow up big time! DJ Rushn can be found getting parties going around Doha as well as several countries in S. E. Asia, but it is only a matter of time before he goes global and becomes a household name for anyone who is serious about EDM.
