Dick Whittington and His Cat by Stuart Ardern
Details: The tradition of pantomime has been around for hundreds of years and the Doha Players are keen to keep it alive and licking. The whole process is great fun and this is reflected in the faces of the adults and children in the audience. This year the Doha Players present a pantomime which has been written by Stuart Ardern. Dick Whittington is a tale that has been around for over 200 years and it is a classic tale of rags to riches with lots of fun and laughter on the way. This year's pantomime has been directed by Ian Lacey and Gill Hope. They have been able to involve a mass of new talent in the show to play the traditional characters of Dick Whittington and His Cat. The old favourites are never far away, however, who can forget the Dame? So come along and join us as we retell a classic tale and add some Doha humour to it as only the Doha Players can.
