IAID WINTER WORKSHOP 2012 FOR KIDS

IAID’s 11th Winter Workshop is set to turn this season into a Winterrific fun.

From the pioneers of Workshops here in Qatar, IAID a novel performing arts academy is delighted to present another season of Winter Workshop 2012 for Kids.

Participants starting 4 years and above will have the chance to explore and experience new and innovative activities in the field of dance, music, arts and fitness, that will surely bring fun memories this winter season.

Dance enthusiasts will enjoy learning versatile dance moves and routines that will enhance body coordination and flexibility. Pre-ballet class is open for kids 4-6 yrs that will teach the participants basic ballet movements and discipline while more advance ballet routines will be imparted to kids 7-12 yrs from the Classical Ballet Dance Class. Rounding off the dance courses is Hip-Hop Craze designed for kids 7-18 yrs wherein participants will get to learn, correct footwork techniques, rhythm, coordination and more!

Kids will surely enhance creativity and imagination through the Winter Workshop 2012 Visual and Studio Arts courses. Starting 4-6 years, kids will explore the art of cartooning by learning various techniques in Cartooning for Children. Similarly, another art course, Cartooning, Comic and Character Design set for participants 7 years and above will offer higher level of workshop exercises that includes creating of comic story board, cartoon conversation bubbles and more!

Alongside, Fitness Department presents exciting fitness courses that will absolutely keep the young ones healthy this winter. Aero Steps is a good fitness course alternative that is perfect for the active child from age 7 years and above. It is a healthy and invigorating exercise that will have kids stomp, hop and stride to the rhythm while using the stepper. Moreover, due to an overwhelming response from the last Summer Workshop, we are bringing back Boxing for Fitness Round 2 designed for kids 7- 12 years. This course will boost participant’s fitness level, develops self-esteem and improves confidence level. Lastly, kids will definitely enjoy Fun & Fit, a high energy fitness dance course that is packed with specially choreographed routines set in the latest dance music.

Aspiring young musicians will soon find special opportunity to enhance their talent and passion through the Music courses. Acoustic Rock open for 5 yrs and above will teach participants basic guitar theories such as chords, notation, sight and rhythm reading. Another exciting course this winter from the music department is the Musical Theatre design for kids 7 years and above. The course gives young actors of all skill levels the opportunity to perform and explore their creativity through singing and acting based on the popular musical Oliver Twist.

Lastly, Performing Arts for kids, a specialized preparatory course will highlight Winter Workshop 2012.This course open for 4-6 yrs of age integrates dancing, singing and playing instrument set on a friendly fun-filled atmosphere.3 qualified instructors from different fields of talent expertise lead the class to explore creative moments that will surely harness the child’s ability.
