The Art of Engraving on Gypsum workshop will be held from July 24 to 27 wherein participants will learn about the history of the art of engraving on gypsum, which dates back to the eleventh century AD and was a major part of Arab architecture and engineering and still is.

This legacy is renewed, as gypsum has become an essential part of decorating homes, and a hobby and artistic craft for many young people today to occupy their spare time by making models and engraving on them. Also, creating Islamic motifs or writing calligraphy, verses, and others.

• July 24 - 27, 2022 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm

Location: Building 18 - Hall 1, Katara

Details:

• Ages 8 to 13 years old.
• This workshop is free.
