The Pearl-Qatar has organised special activities at the Porto Arabia for the holy month of Ramadan.
“Featuring traditional Ramadan offerings, the Pearl-Qatar is a haven to spend an evening after breaking the fast.
Visitors can stroll along the waterfront, browsing the various shops, and the Cultural and Art Districts where exclusive retailers are hosting special activities,” a spokesperson said.

“We wanted to create a traditional Ramadan environment in a non-traditional setting,” said Theresa Backus Dunn, retail marketing manager, the Pearl-Qatar. “Visitors can enjoy various activities by the striking Doha skyline as backdrop.”

Porto Arabia has sourced local flavours from all over Doha to bring their wares to the Pearl-Qatar. The finest Arabic coffee, tea and dates in the country are available, complimentary for all visitors.
“Ladies of Doha are encouraged to visit the private henna tent. Talented artists will be on site, offering services free of charge.”

As Ramadan is the month of charity, Qatar Charity representatives are present at the venues to brief about noble causes.

A collection of traditional Islamic painting will also be exhibited. Local artist Isam Ibrahim Babikr is presenting his works of art, typified by luminous use of colour and multi-dimensional effects.
All retail shops are open from 10am -2pm and 8 pm-midnight. Operating hours for cafes and restaurants are from 8pm-midnight.
