The kites, being specially brought from Korea, are of gigantic size and of dynamic shapes and colours. They will be controlled by expert kite masters from Korea.
The event at Katara on Saturday, opposite the Amphitheatre, is open to the public. The opening is at 10am. There are kite flying demonstrations until noon and from 3pm to 4pm.
A kite making workshop, for a limited audience, is to be held from 4pm to 5pm. An exhibition of various types of kites will be held throughout the day.
