FBQ Museum celebrates Qatar National Sports Day with the central objective to promote a healthy lifestyle among Qatar’s population, as the day was established back in 2012, exactly ten years ago by HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

The program Stories of Sports and Other Tales will entice visitors with unique artifacts and imagery of untold adventures about the roots of the first Qatari football team or the art of hunting and falconry with samples and tools, or through embroidered rugs and tapestries.

Timings:

• 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Carpet Museum, 6th floor at Marriott Marquis (free entrance and free guided tour with Chady El Baik, Carpet Museum curator)
• 11:00 am – 12:00 pm: FBQ Museum, Al Shahaniya (Museum ticket + free guided tour with Mahmoud Saber, FBQ Education officer)
• 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm: FBQ Museum, Al Shahaniya (Museum ticket + free guided tour with Mahmoud Saber, FBQ Education officer)

Note: You can get the ticket at the door/entrance or buy them online ahead of time.
