This program provides the opportunity for you to learn the history of Art in Qatar.
You will have the opportunity to expand on the history of art through Narrating and discussing the Qatari movement in fine arts and its history, carrying out a work with master Yusuf Ahmed on (the readable text of visual art).
The artist Mr. Yousef Ahmad is the first generation of Qatar artists to study abroad. He graduated from College of Art Education in Helwan University, Cario, with bachelor’s in art education 1976.
Yousef Ahmed is considered one of the pioneer artists because of his important contributions to the development of modern and contemporary art in Qatar.
On a second level, the program will focus on the history of the art scene of Qatar and how / where the artwork fits in.
