The Fire Station: Artist in Residence, in collaboration with the Painting and Printmaking Department at VCUarts Qatar, are to present a virtual lecture series titled ‘Decolonizing Art Narratives: Arab Women Artists Today’ in which 14 women artists will come together to explore gender, politics, colonialism, culture and identity.

Participating artists include Bahia Shehab on 17 February, Lamia Joreige on 24 February, Nadia Ayari on 17 March, Sama Alshaibi on 24 March, Ala Younis on 31 March, Alia Ali on 5 April, Iman Issa on 25 August, Youmna Chlala on 8 September, Monira Al Qadiri on 22 September, Nadia Kaabi-Linke on 6 October, Ghada Khunji on 13 October, Abeer Al-Kuwari on 3 November, Noor Abuissa on 10 November and Diana Al-Hadid on 17 November.
