Celebrate International Mangrove Action Day with the rest of the world. People can come to participate in a beach clean up by the mangroves in Al Thakira. Plastic gloves and bags will be provided. Here is a map. We will be meeting at point C at 4:30pm and start cleaning at 5 pm. We recoomend you to try to drive 4x4.
Those interested can attend a night kayak trip in the mangroves (some experience required, if you consider yourself sporty than you are ok). Cost is 250 riyals and 100 riyals will be donated to the Mangrove Action Project. Register for beach cleanup through bookeo.com/entalek (beach cleanup) and register for the night kayak and BBQ by booking through bookeo.com/entalek (paddle the channels 19:00).
