Their weekly workshops are designed to provide an immersive and engaging learning experience for young learners who are interested in exploring the beautiful art of Arabic calligraphy.
The course will be taught by Razzan Alagraa, a skilled calligrapher and student of master calligrapher Shahryanshah Sirajuddin Hoca. With Razzan's guidance, students will learn the fundamentals of the Riq’a script, a versatile and widely used script in Arabic calligraphy.
Over the course of 4 sessions, students will receive instruction in the history, features, and uses of the riq’a script, as well as the proper preparation of reed pens and ink. Each session will also include in-class assessments, homework assignments, and ongoing personalized feedback to ensure that each student is making progress and developing their skills.
