The famous Japanese brand has recently launched in Qatar and opened its first branch in Ezdan Mall, Al Wakra. Tetsushi Mizokami started the brand in Hakata, Japan, in 1985. Today, it has branches worldwide and has become popular for its cheesecakes that "combines the richness of American cheesecakes with the lightness of French soufflés."
So Souffle currently has two branches - one in Lusail Marina Food Arena and the other at Msheireb Galleria Mall. Famous for their Japanese souffle pancake, they also offer Japanese cheesecake in the following flavors - Classic, pistachio, saffron, and salted caramel & popcorn. Additional sauces in different flavors are also available.
One of the new food establishments in town, Fluffy Bunny, serves Japanese cheesecake that is "so yummy it will fill your tummy." Aside from the classic Japanese cheesecake, you can also try the Cheese Tart and their variety of cold and hot drinks, including Boba.
If you're an anime otaku, this cafe is not to be missed. Although it's best to dine in so you can be surrounded by all things anime, delivery is the next best thing. Like the others on this list, Anime Cafe's Japanese cheesecake is airy and its fluffy-goodness will make you say "Oishi!"
Long before Uncle Tetsu came, Esposito had already gained a following. The home bakery offers Japanese cheesecake (8-inch diameter & 3-inch height) with a berry sauce. It's enough for 8 to 10 people. And for matcha lovers, they also have a Matcha JCC! Make sure to order one day in advance.
