Jamavar Doha, a multi-award-winning pan-Indian restaurant, is offering a unique opportunity to its patrons this Eid as Culinary Director & Executive Chef, Surender Mohan of Michelin-starred Jamavar London returns to the city to host a limited-edition gastronomic experience. Reflecting the essence of Jamavar London, located on Mayfair’s renowned Mount Street, Chef Surender has thoughtfully created a bespoke Eid tasting menu, exclusively available for lunch and dinner from the 21 to 23 April 2023, as well as will kickstart a special à la carte Summer menu at Jamavar Doha.
The second international outpost of the critically-acclaimed Jamavar will provide diners with a unique opportunity to ‘Dine with the Chef ’ as he steps into the kitchen to prepare a special Eid tasting menu for QR 225 per person, showcasing an array of exclusive signature dishes for guests to indulge in such as the Chandni Chowk ki Aloo Tikki, Punjabi Samosa, Adraki Lamb Chops and Old Delhi Butter Chicken with Sheer Kurma for dessert.
Following this, Jamavar Doha will be launching its Summer menu, created by Chef Surender, that reflects his profound passion and distinctive yet holistic approach to Indian cuisine. The menu features sustainable and locally-sourced produce and aims to provide a stronger foundation for flavour with a goal to reduce food waste to a large extent.
In keeping with this, the Summer menu showcases appetizers such as the Kerala Style Beef Uthappam and succulent Tandoor dishes such as Paneer Tikka Panchporan, Mahi Malai Tikka, and Tandoori Lamb Chops. Patrons can select new choices of mains such as Jamavar London’s signature Dum Nalli Biryani and Hyderabadi Bhuna Gosht. The adventure continues with the perfect sharing-style desserts like the summer special Burnt Mango Tart and a selection of sorbets.
