InterContinental Doha Launches Two Unique Food & Beverage Concepts

The social and dining scene of Qatar is set to ignite with the launch of two unique food and beverage concepts to open at InterContinental Doha in October 2018, introducing an exclusive gastronomic offering never seen before in Doha.

In collaboration with world acclaimed Peruvian celebrity chef, Gastón Acurio, InterContinental Doha is launching La Mar, an upscale-casual-dining restaurant serving authentic Peruvian Cuisine. La Mar is set by the oceanfront and offers signature Peruvian classics to tantalise the taste buds in a stylish setting.

Manko Doha is a sophisticated bar lounge, bringing the Parisian flair with a chic and contemporary interior, a rooftop terrace with gorgeous views of the Arabian gulf, along with hip, energetic vibes for Doha socialites to enjoy all night long. Manko Doha offers a dynamic cocktail menu and unique Nikkei cuisine, a combination of Peruvian and Japanese influenced dishes – for a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience.

La Mar by Gastón Acurio, offers an eclectic menu of Peruvian gastronomy for the first time ever in Doha. Overlooking the Arabian Gulf, La Mar brings a vibrant dining experience for family and friends to gather and enjoy sharing of food in a fashionable setting.

Offering a mix of indoor and outdoor seatings, and distinctive culinary experiences, the menu of La Mar features a wide ranges of authentic, classic Peruvian dishes, including the signature Cebiche’s, Causas, as well as Tiraditos.

To complete the experience, La Mar’s comprehensive cocktail programme includes a list of Peruvian specials, featuring cocktails infused with Pisco, a South American grape beverage, and signature cocktails with a Peruvian twist.

La Mar boasts spectacular sea views, along with a distinguished al fresco dining experience, set in an upscale casual atmosphere combining Peruvian elements with modern luxe decor.


Sophistication has a new meaning with the opening of Manko Doha. Incorporating an "oh-so-chic" Parisian flair, plush setting, creative mixology, and authentic Nikkei cuisine, Manko Doha is the city's newest and exciting bar lounge.

Manko Doha is the place to socialise, from sunset to late night as it turns into an ultra-lounge at midnight and boasting vibrant vibes with its distinctive DJ line-up directly from Paris.

Offering a specially curated Nikkei oriented menu, guests can enjoy this unique cuisine - a Peruvian favourite featuring ingredients from the Incas in Peru, incorporated with Japanese finesse. Manko’s Cebiche offering will also include authentic Peruvian classics such as the Clásico, an exquisite selection of Nigiris, and grilled items.

The chic venue also boasts modern contemporary décor and a rooftop terrace with unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf.

Socialites in Doha can enjoy Manko’s signature cocktails all night long, including the world famous Pisco sour, specially curated by Manko’s innovative mixologists.
