Centara West Bay Hotel & Residences Doha is delighted to announce the appointment of Karthik Ravi as the new Executive Chef, and the launching of Dalchini’s new progressive menu on October 25, 2021.
With an illustrated career spanning over 15 years of hospitality and culinary proficiency, Chef Ravi's passion has brought him exciting places like Fiji Islands, United Arab Emirates & India. His travels have influenced his culinary skills in a substantial way, allowing him to create flavor combinations that impart original and unique qualities to dishes.
Chef Ravi brings with him a wealth of experiences specializing in the pre-openings of hotels and evolved into a culinary leader joining luxury properties including Conrad Dubai and Atlantis the Palm Dubai. Ravi continued his culinary journey to the South Pacific where he perfected his skills at the vast Westin property complex in Fiji Islands.
Taking on the role of Executive Chef i/c FB at Centara West Bay, Ravi takes responsibility for every aspect of restaurant operations, menu creations, banquet, and Centara’s creative catering concept. Chef Ravi and his team working with Michelin starred chef, Alfred Prasad has developed the exciting new Dalchini menu, which is guaranteed to excite unique tastes on each plate.

Long-standing favorites are still on the menu, such as; the famous Dalchini signature biryani, Pepper Chicken, Patta Chaat, Spiced Lamb Chops. These popular dishes have been joined by new options such as 'Tuna bhel' sashimi grade diced tuna marinated in lime juice served with freshly squeezed watermelon juice, 'Dalchini Kebab Smoked Platter' for grill and tandoor appetizer, main classics with a twist 'Spice Crusted Salmon', chicken tikka shredded 'Murgh khurchan', and more!

Drawing on the diversity of India’s regional cuisines, the team at Dalchini Restaurant & Bar serves a selection of progressive Indian dishes in a modern atmosphere.
