Two more hotels have been added to the list of quarantine facilities designated by Discover Qatar. These two hotels are DoubleTree by Hilton and The Avenue Hotel. This brings the total of designated quarantine facilities to 62.

Discover Qatar’s Welcome Home hotel quarantine package prices start from QR 2,300, providing economical options that allow an affordable quarantine experience. Included are three meals per day on a full board basis, a PCR test, and one-way transfers from HIA upon arrival. These cost-effective prices allow guests to choose from over 60 hotels that suit their budget across three, four and five-star properties while two and three-bedroom villas are available for larger families. This compares favourably to other countries where no hotel choice is available or the pricing is fixed. Mekaines packages start from QR 1,820 and include a mobile phone with a sim card, Wi-Fi, full board and new bedding for every arrival.

Bookings and cancellations

• Once a booking has been made for a quarantine facility, amendments are not permitted. Cancellations are allowed up to 21 days before the arrival date of your quarantine booking, including full refunds.
• All cancellations that are made inside 21 days are subject to 100% cancellation charges*
• If you confirm your booking within 21 days of arrival it is non-refundable and the dates cannot be amended*.

*The following exceptions to the above apply

• Flight was cancelled or changed by the airline.
• Compassionate grounds, supported by some documentary evidence, such as a positive PCR result preventing travel.
• Exemption from quarantine granted upon arrival into Qatar.
• If you have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination within Qatar and are no longer required to undertake hotel quarantine, you must advise within 48 hours of arrival.

DO NOT book your quarantine package until you are sure that the details are correct.
