The Government Communications Office (GCO) confirms that all Qatari citizens evacuated from the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) have arrived in Doha.
A Hotel has been set up as a quarantine facility to be used by the Qatari citizens for 14 day period and will be cared for and monitored by medical. Additionally, they have also been provided with all necessities.
In a statement, the Government Communications Office reiterates that there have been no cases of coronavirus in Qatar and encourages individuals to refer to official information and to not rely on or distribute unconfirmed or unofficial information.
