Due to the coronavirus outbreak, many businesses across the globe are struggling and Qatar is no exception to this.
People are staying home to eliminate contact with others, businesses are having tough times to make sales but still have lots of bills to pay such as rent, fees, payrolls and so on.
Katara announced to waive rents and other fees (electricity & water) to their investors, restaurant and cafe owners starting from tomorrow.
This genuine initiative by Katara definitely shows they care about their investors/partners, gives them a bit of relief and encouragement to come over the difficult times together.
In South Korea, where a heavier outbreak of COVID-19 hit for several months, businesses are struggling to survive and similar gestures were made by many property owners.
We definitely need to support each other to combat this rough period and it is heartwarming news to share with you guys.
