Gamers, unite! The first Qatar Esports WEGA Global Games™ is here!
The start of this 3-year global eSports competition was officially launched with a show-stopping live event on January 16, 2020, at Khalifa International Stadium.
Esports fans were able to witness various live performances including that of Tokio Myers, a multi-instrument music producer who won Britain's Got Talent in 2017.
Qatar Esports WEGA Global Games™ is the first esports tournament here in Qatar and is a collaboration between Wega, Aspire Zone Foundation, and Truxtun Capital. It will be running from 2020 to 2022.
This 2020, four games will be initially featured. These are CS: GO, DOTA2, Street Fighter V, eFootball PES 2020.
