Marmi Festival is a falconry and hunting festival that is considered as one of the best tourist attractions of the season and will go on until the 1st of February.
Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, the Marmi Festival represents the rich Qatari heritage and shows how forefathers lived in the land.
Since the approval of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 2010 to register falconry in the Representative List of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity, efforts have continued to develop activities to preserve this world heritage.
