A spectacular fireworks show themed on maritime traditions illuminated the Katara skyline on the last day (Nov 23) of the traditional Dhow festival.
A large number of spectators thronged the Katara beach on Friday evening from 8pm to 8.20pm to have a feel of the specular fireworks.
A one-of-its-kind fireworks display was not a normal fireworks show. It was woven around a theme to the story of fishing, diving and fighting in the sea.
