Butter Chicken is one of the best-known and loved Indian dishes. Aromatic golden chicken pieces in a testy creamy gravy make you crave to have more of it.

Ingredients for the sauce
3 tbsp. butter
cinnamon - 1 small stick
3 pcs. tomatoes
2 pcs. onions
5 pcs. garlic
1/2 tsp. jeera/cumin
7-8 pcs. dry chili
salt (as per taste)
10-12 pcs. cashew nuts
1/2 tsp. ginger
6 tbsp. buttercream
1/2 ts. sugar
1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
Ingredients for chicken marinade
1 kg chicken breast
4 tbsp. yogurt
1 tbsp. red chili powder
1/2 tbsp. garam masala powder
1/2 tsp. kasoori methi/fenugreek
salt (as per taste)
Step 1: Wash and cut the chicken into medium size pieces
Step 2: add marinade ingredients and mix!
Step 3: refrigerate overnight
Sauce + Chicken
Step 4: heat pot, add butter and jeera
Step 5: add onions and sauté for 1 min.
Step 6: add dry chili, garlic, tomatoes, cashew nut, and sauté for 1 min.
Step 7: pour a cup of water and cook for 10-15 min. until it evaporates
Step 8: let it cool and later grind into a fine paste
Step 9: add oil to the pan and cook chicken on medium heat for a few minutes
Step 10: heat pot, add butter, chopped ginger, and sauté for 1 min.
Step 11: add sauce and cook until oil separates
Step 12: add chicken and cook for 5 min.
