The Ministry of Interior announced on 3 November 2022 that Visit Visa holders that entered Qatar before 1 November 2022 can transfer to a Fan Visa to attend World Cup matches, provided they have a Hayya Card.

Visitors who entered the country before 1 November 2022 can transfer their visa to Fan Visa if they hold a Hayya card.

The transfer can be done by visiting the General Directorate of Passports or any of the MOI Services Centres.
A charge of QR 500 will be applicable.
