How to apply for UAE multiple-entry tourist visa for Hayya card holders

The UAE Government Media Office has announced in a tweet (30 August 2022) that it will be allowing a multiple entry visa for Hayya cardholders who will be attending the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The announcement mentioned that the Hayya cardholders will be given the benefit of entering and staying in the country for 90 (ninety) days from the date of issuance. There will be a reduced, one-time fee for the visa amounting to AED 100 (equivalent to USD 27.23 or QR 100.13 according to Google Finance).

Hayya cardholders who avail of this visa will be allowed multiple entries to the country during its validity. Apart from this, the visa will also be allowed for an extension of up to 90 (ninety) days.

Visa application starts on 1 November 2022 and will be accessible through www.icp.gov.ae. The UAE Government Media Office notes that citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded and that they may enter and reside in the country according to the current and existing procedures.

How to apply for the multiple-entry visa

The UAE Government Media Office lists the step-by-step process for the multiple-entry visa application. Follow the steps below:

  1. Acess the ICP web portal: www.icp.gov.ae
  2. Choose "Smart Channels" link
  3. Choose "Public Services" from the main menu
  4. Select "Hayya Card Holders" from the Public Services main menu
  5. Fill application form
