Mehdi Balamissa and Gabriel Martin, two avid fans of The Blues (France national football team), have set out to travel 8,000 kilometers from Paris to Doha to witness their team's first match on 22 November 2022.

Bringing only twenty kilos of luggage each in their saddlebags and waving their blue-white-red French flags, Mehdi Balamissa and Gabriel Martin started their 3-month journey on 20 August 2022 from the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

They plan to reach Istanbul in a month's time, cross Turkey from west to east, then Iran from north to south. From there they plan to board a ferry for the United Arab Emirates and travel to Doha by mid-November days before the France-Australia match on 22 November 2022 at the Al Janoub Stadium.

The two friends have been passionate supporters of The Blues and have traveled to support their team in many tournaments. They have the support of the French Football Federation (FFF) in their adventure.

They will be documenting their amazing journey through their Instagram (@mondialavelo).
