H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited the headquarters of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at the Doha Exhibition Center in Al Qassar on the morning of 14 November 2022.
His Highness was briefed on the Operations Center of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the main operations command center for the hosting country. Details of the preparations and measures taken for the global sporting event were discussed and ensured the achievement of the highest international standards.
His Highness met with a number of senior officials from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and FIFA.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied during the visit by H.E. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA and a number of sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
