Spain beats costa rica group e match

The third match of 23 November 2022 witnessed Team Spain against Costa Rica in a Group E match at Al Thumama Stadium. The full-time score is 7-0 in favour of Spain.

Spain's Dani Olmo gets an early goal in the 11th minute of the match, dinking Spain into the lead at 1-0.

Taking Spain further into the lead is Marco Asensio with a follow-up goal, taking the score to 2-0 in the 21st minute.

Ferran Torres scores another goal for Team Spain just before halftime, taking the lead to 3-0 in the 31st minute.

Continuing Spain's momentum in the second half of the match is Ferran Torres with another goal, furthering the lead to 4-0 in the 54th minute, his second goal of the match.

18-year-old Pablo Gavira, also known as Gavi, of Team Spain scores a goal with the outside of his foot in the 74th minute, taking the score to 5-0. Gavi makes history as the youngest goalscorer at a FIFA World Cup for Spain.

Carlos Soler takes another goal for Spain, with an assist from Nico Williams' low cross taking the score to 6-0 in the 90th minute.

The goals keep coming from Spain as Alvaro Morata scores another one for the team shortly after, taking the score to 7-0 before the full-time whistle blew.

Spain scored 7 goals in a match for the first time at the FIFA World Cup, a new record for the team.
