In a report by the Saudi channel Al Ekhbariya TV on Twitter, Assistant Director General of the General Department of Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khaled Al-Shammari has said that Muslim Hayya Card holders for the World Cup in Qatar can perform Umrah and visit Madinah. This visa to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be valid from 11 November 2022 until 18 December 2022.

The visa for Hayya Card holders is free but mandatory medical insurance must be obtained from the "visa" platform.

He also noted that the visa is valid for multiple trips and the holder can enter and exit the Kingdom at any time during its validity period. It is not required that the holder should have entered Qatar before that. He also indicated that the period of stay for the visa holder is two months, ending on 11 January 2023.
