Saudi traveller Abdullah Al-Salami set off on foot from Jeddah to Doha on 9 September 2022 to reach Doha in time for the World Cup.

He has been documenting his journey and the progress on his social media and has said on his Twitter account that the adventure will take around 60 days and the distance to be covered is 1600 km.
