The Ministry of Justice announced in a tweet on 27 July 2022, that anyone engaging in the illegal selling of World Cup tickets will be subjected to a fine of QR 250,000.

The penalty will be applied to all cases of ticket issuance, selling, reselling or exchange that are executed without a FIFA-provided license.
This is in compliance with Law No. (10) of 2021 of hosting the World Cup.
