The Peninsula Qatar reported a statement made by Chairman of the FIFA Finance Committee, Alejandro Dominguez, at The 73rd FIFA Congress Meeting, which took place on 16 March 2023 in Kigali, Rwanda, where he acknowledged and complimented the success of the World Cup in Qatar.
As per Alejandro Dominguez, the World Cup in Qatar not only proved to be unique on the field but also performed exceptionally well financially, making it the World Cup edition with the highest financial returns.
