Ismail Jakobs sends in an out-swinging corner, and Famara Diedhiou gets plenty of power on his header to guide the ball into the net. Famara Diedhiou's corner strike doubled the goal at 48'.

Mohamed Muntari scores a goal at the 78' for Qatar. This is the first-ever goal for Qatar at the World Cup.

Cheikh Dieng scores a goal in the 84th minute for Senegal.

The full-time score is 3-1 in favour of Senegal.
