Qatar Post announced in a tweet on 19 May 2022, the launch of the official stamp of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ mascot, La’eeb.

The ceremony took place at the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum 321 on 19 May 2022.

As per Khalid Al Mawlawi, Deputy Director-General, Marketing, Communications, and Event Experience at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the World Cup 2022 mascot being on a postage stamp will be owned by many around the world, which will enhance their experience of the World Cup.

It was also mentioned by Hamad Al Fahida, Chief of Operations at Qatar Post, that the stamp launch comes as part of the fourth phase of the journey to document Qatar’s preparations for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
