On the occasion of the country’s organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Qatar Central Bank has regulated the work and has organized the following working setup for financial institutions in the country:

1. The branches of financial institutions that have their headquarters on Grand Hamad Street, or in the vicinity of Doha Corniche, will have 20% of their employees present at the workplace, while 80% of employees work remotely. The working hours shall be according to the current working hours.

2. The branches of financial institutions whose headquarters are not located in the areas indicated above, in accordance with Clause No. (1), shall continue work according to the current work system.

The Qatar Central Bank notes that the circular is effective from 1 November 2022 until 19 December 2022.
