President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, arrived in Doha on 14 December 2022 to attend part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by H.E. Minister of Transportation Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, H.E. Mr Akbar Al Baker, President of Qatar Tourism and CEO of Qatar Airways Group, and H.E. Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic, and His Excellency Mr Jean-Baptiste Favre, Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar.
