MSC Cruises announced on 10 October 2022 that the luxury MSC Opera will become a cruise ship hotel in Doha working in cooperation with Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy for the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The ship will welcome visitors from 19 November 2022 until 19 December 2022 and will join MSC World Europa and MSC Poesia during this period.

Fans can book their accommodation at MSC Opera for a minimum of two nights through the MSC Cruises website or third-party travel agents.

The MSC Opera offers elegance, comfort, and unique hospitality that is great for families as it is equipped with play areas for kids and water features.

Other amenities include a shopping area, lounges, the magnificent Teatro dell'Opera theatre for evening entertainment, a range of restaurants, a spa, a gym, swimming pools, and whirlpools located throughout the ship’s nine decks.
