The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ final kicked off with a memorable and dazzling Closing Ceremony.

The stunning performances of musical and visual entertainment were held before the final match between France and Argentina at the iconic Lusail Stadium on 18 December 2022.

The show opened with Qatari singer Dana's rendition of It’s a Wonderful World accompanied by Tamim Al Barghouti’s recital of the poem ‘The Beautiful Game’, which honors the coming together of nations to celebrate the sport.

The 32 participating countries of the tournament were represented by flying orbs decorated with the respective countries' flags. The orbs took flight in synchronization until only the orbs of Argentina and France remained, the two teams competing for the title.

The highlight of the ceremony was the spectacular mash-up of the World Cup soundtrack songs sung by the stars themselves. (Hayya Hayya) Better Together, led by Davido and Aisha was the first track followed by Ozuna and Gims performing Arhbo, before the vibrant Light the Sky from Nora Fatehi, Balqees, Rahma Riad, and Manal.

2010 Spanish FIFA World Cup winning goalkeeper Iker Casillas unveiled the official World Cup Qatar 2022 trophy on to the field with Indian actress and Louis Vuitton brand ambassador Deepika Padukone.
